Thoughts

Let me start off by saying I miss you. Not a single day goes by that I don't think of you. Ever since you've passed, it feels as though there's a part of me missing. You left us all too soon. We weren't ready to let you go yet. While reminding myself that you are in a better place now gets me through the pain of missing you, it doesn't take away the fact that I wish you were still here. I never thought I would lose you so soon. I thought we had forever. I will never forget the time we were able to spend together, I will cherish those memories in my heart for the rest of my life. I can only hope that I am making you proud. I hope that you are looking down at me happy with the person I have become. You touched so many people's lives in so many ways. You brought so much joy, love, and happiness into our lives. You were such an amazing person, whom I was very lucky to have in my life. You were always there for me and always very supportive of me. Thank you for being the best person to come into my life. Everyone close to you was very lucky to know you. We will never forget how much you did for us and how much you meant to us, and still mean to us. The children miss you terribly too and still think about all the fun times you had together. You and David made every Easter, birthday and Christmas so very special . Until we meet again .

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
